Barney |
Barney and Bela are the resident labradoodles at Larapinta.
Barney is a Brisbane boy and he is a F2B labradoodle, which means that he is the result of a mating between a second generation F2 cream labradoodle (dad) and a standard white poodle. He has a cream wool coat and doesn’t shed.
Bela is a Sydney girl and she’s a F1B labradoodle - the result of a first generation F1 cream labradoodle (mum) and a standard red poodle. Bela has an apricot fleece coat and doesn’t shed.
It is Bela’s first litter and it was conceived on Christmas Day and show no signs of any health problems. All of the pups are being regularly checked by our local vet, and the first check up since birth pronounced them all 100%!
Both dogs have outstanding temperaments and display all the attributes of the labradoodle breed - super friendly, gentle, playful and very smart.
They live in ‘paradise’ and enjoy home cooked meals every day - quite spoilt actually!
Professional breeders suggest that various tests need to be done to guarantee the health of the pup you might buy and pass on those costs to you. We know that both Barney and Bela are very healthy dogs and show no signs of any health problems.
They live in a loving environment and the pups reflect this. We have no hesitation in saying that these pups will reward you for many years to come.

Size:
These puppies will grow to become ‘standard’ size which is around the size of a Labrador, but with the lighter frame of a poodle.
Needs:
Attention -Labradoodles love people, you will definitely need to love them back and give them attention.
Exercise - these puppies will need room to move and play and regular walks or trips to the park as they grow up. If they are like their parents, they will love the beach and will love the water!
Training - labradoodles are smart, so with proper training, you will have an obedient and loyal friend for their lifetime.
Grooming - with their non-shedding coats you will not have dog hair everywhere but they do need regular grooming. A brush once a week, a bath every few weeks and cutting a couple of times a year is recommended, especially over the summer months.
Feeding - instructions will be provided for their ‘puppy’ days but one they mature, one complete meal a day is fine. Like any dog though, a fresh bone, pigs ear or other treat is always welcomed!
Health - each puppy will all be vaccinated and checked by our vet and wormed regularly before it is available. We can arrange for desexing if you wish prior to collection for the cost of the service.
